I Can't Write a Poem

    Forget it.
    You must be kidding.
    I’m still half asleep.
    My eyes keep closing.
    My brain isn’t working.
    I don’t have a pencil.
    I don’t have any paper.
    My desk is wobbly.
I don’t know what to write about.
And besides, I don’t even know how to write a poem.
I’ve got a headache. I need to see the nurse.
    Time’s up? Uh oh!
All I have is this dumb list of excuses.
You like it? Really? No kidding.
    Thanks a lot.
Would you like to see another one?

I like this poem because it incorporates human with showing how things night not be as hard as they seem, and you might end up liking them.

  1. This is really funny. It's funny 'cause a lot of us do this, and it is relatable in many ways. Also, it's talking about the difficulty of coming up with a poem in a poem. Nice one, Rahul :)

  2. I like this one. It actually caught my attention without it needing to rhyme (yes, my main poem style is rhyme). I feel like I will do this in my head, and he just wrote it down for me.
