Fearful for her
Antigone causes me to feel more pity and fear personally. She is more relatable because I put my family first just as Antigone does. Antigone says, "I will raise a mound for him, for my dear brother."(63) Antigone by burring her brother shows that she is willing to die for a cause she believes in just as most people would. I also can not relate or feel empathy for Creon because his problems come from the fact of being power hungry. Craving power has no honor in it so I can not feel for Creon. Since I relate to Antigone and her morals I can feel more empathy for her. I feel empathy for her because she is destined to have terrible fate. Antigone says ".. How many griefs our father Oedipus handed down!" I also feel empathy for Antigone because of her tragic flaw of being stubborn. If she could have quit being stubborn for one moment she might still be alive and in not as much trouble. Even though being stubborn is not good I still feel empathy for her situation.
