Diffrences in Sisters

Antigone is strong. She isn't afraid to speak her mind even when time comes to confront the king. Therefore Antigone does not fallow the stereo types of this time. The stereo types of women, they are week, women fallow mens' orders and never disobey. A better example to represent the norm would be Ismene. She show this belief when she is arguing with Antigone about the burial of their brother. Ismene even says "we are women,we're not born to contend with men." Katniss mirrors Antigone in rebelling against higher power. Antigone buried her brother who was to rot on the battle field; Katniss would go to the forest and hunt, something she was forbidden to do. Both of these women rebelled for self less reasons, Katniss broke the rules to feed her family, Antigone broke the rules to honor their family. Both women are strong.
