Antigone vs. Ismene and Women vs. Men.

     Ismene upholds her role as a typical women. When she didn't want to help Antigone burry her brother Ismene didn't want to go against the rules. All she wanted to do was follow the rules and not do anything against the king. On the other hand Antigone subverts her role as a typical women. She wants to test the boundries given, not follow the rules. In Anthem they are weak women. They work in the field picking food or cotten. Doing what typical women do. It is much different in Hunger Games because many women such as Katniss are put into the games to fight to the death. So they have to be strong and fight the boys.
