Antigone and Ismene's Roles in Society

Antigone and Ismene are very different in their personalities. Ismene is docile and upholds the role of a woman in a patriarchal society, while Antigone subverts it because she is headstrong and independent. in Anthem and The Hunger Games, the women are equal to men. They have their own jobs in society, and the same rules apply to them, only in The Hunger Games, the women are meant to be strong and independent, which is opposite to Anthem.
